Razer does not only support clans and gamers. Their mouse sensors
can also be used for high precision positioning of robots. A student
team from the Aachen University in Germany used the Copperhead sensors
for tracking their robots position. With their bot "Scirocco" they have won the German Eurobot Championship last weekend in Heidelberg, an international contest for autonomous robots and are now on their way to the European Eurobot Finals in Catania, Italy. Read here for more information

(See this thread for detailed informations and questions). And Mouse Force, a tool that forces certain non-DirectInput games (e.g. "Wolfenstein: Enemy
Territory") to utilize DirectInput for pointer device access (Read this thread for more information and questions)

A Razer fan has programmed a profile editor for the Razer Copperhead under Linux. You can download it here. Please note that this tool is not released by Razer, so use it on your own risk. For example as far as we know the concept of a protected memory in the firmware is not implemented, so the power of the laser output could be manipulated to a harmfull level. Nevertheless, give it a try and let us know what you think about it. A big thx from the community to Chris for coding this piece of work, perhaps other users can support the further developement

Two new animals have joined the Razer family: the Razer Krait™ and the Razer Armadillo™.
The Krait is optimized for real time strategy and massively multiplayer online gaming. It offers 1200 APM, 1600 DPI and a frame rate over 6400 fpm. Additionally, it has an Always-On™ Mode which ensures that the optical sensor never powers down . It is available online for US$ 39.99.
The Armadillo is a cable management system
that prevents unwanted mouse movements caused by long wires. It is made of carbon coated mild steel and has a weight of 300 grams. It offers a maximum cabel diameter of 3.5 mm and it allows a 360° swivel movement for the cable. The Armadillo is available online for US$ 19.99.
