Unlike the Barracuda HP-1 headset the Megalodon only used two drivers, one per ear. Razer implements a technique called binaural recording to create a surround sound enviroment. The Megalodon , named after a shark, sould be available by christmas for $149 (US) or 139 €.

Razer has released a new keyboard but before you get too excited I
have to break the bad news: It is going to be released exclusively in
China. Apparently it is going to be sold as a bundle with the Salmosa
mouse. It is being described as an entry level gaming keyboard so the
feature list is understandably small. The press release can be found at
this link along with a feature list and some much larger photos. Thanks to Everdying for the heads up.

Razer has released their new cloth mousepad, the Goliathus. It comes in three different sizes (Oversized, Standard, Space-efficient) and two different styles (Speed, Control). It is priced quite reasonably too at $25 for the Oversized, $20 for the Standard and $15 for the Space-efficient. The price is the same between both styles. Here are the links to their respective product pages: Control Edition (link), Speed Edition (link) Thanks for the heads up HyBreed.

Razer is now offering yet another type of product and has launched the Razer Razor - a high end shaving razor suitable for gamers. None of the Blueprints team knew about this launch and it seems to have taken the gaming community by surprise. Check out Razer's page and let us know if you think it's something you might use.

Razer has released the 1.64 FINAL firmware for the Lachesis with the following changelog:
Fixes
1. Random jumps Issue
2. Axis block issue
The release is dated March 13th so it is a few days old already. It also comes with the new updater, which Razer|Guru mentioned was in development about a week ago in our forums. I've tried it out myself and it is very very easy to use. You can get the new firmware HERE.
Thanks bishibosh for the heads up.
