Blueprints:
You already mentioned the new cloth pad called Mantis - wha´ts so special about it?

Razerguy:
It´s a real alternative to the famous Fat Mat. We will have a speed and control surface - just pick the one you like. We tried to do it two-sided but it would slip so it´s two different mats. You don´t need a wrist rest for this pad; the Mantis will naturally support your wrist. It will cost about 19 €. Estimated release date is October.

Blueprints:
Last year we already talked about the Razer headphones called Piranha. Any new information?

Razerguy:
Yes, its still under developement. Same timing as the keyboard. We are not giving any specs out at the moment but you can expect very similiar to Sennheiser quality.

Image Blueprints:
What future mouse from Razer can we expect?

Razerguy:
Well, it will be either the Mamba or Boomslang 2. Perhaps a miniature version of the Explorer. Think of the Explorer a little more manoeuvrable.

Blueprints:
So when are we going to see the next generation Boomslang?

Razerguy:

Actually, I don´t know. There´s so much going around now. Perhaps next year.

Blueprints:
Some words about the growing Razer community?

Razerguy:
It´s one thing talking about being a community brand and another to really do something for it.

Bjoern::
It´s great to be part of something special and working together with Razer to enhance the gaming experience. Not only your own but also for the rest of the gamers. That´s the idea behind the community.

Razerguy:
Well, yes, its a business, and yes, you have to make profit. People work for your company, paying bills and salary. But, that said, the whole reason to keep making better products, the whole reason to work for the community, the whole reason for sponsoring teams was never to build a brand. It was always about giving back to the community. Gamers believe that all companies are always after their money. And there are companies like that, but there are companies that are not like that. For example, a company like BFG. All they care about is making the gamers happy. There are some really good companies out there that genuinely believe in the community idea and have a vision of Pro gaming and players union and supporting all those things, and not just only taking money. And Razer is definitely one of those companies. It´s a passion for me, and for our team. We all share the same ideas.

Blueprints:
Robert and Bjoern thanks for your time.
