Yay, so I finally got my Habu! So here's a mini review with pics.
My previous mouse was the Diamondback, before that mostly Intelli explorers, boomslang 2k and logitechs here and there. But most comparisons will be made with the diamondback.

Shape
It's so, Microsoft + Razer! The shape is very much like the Intelli Explorer 3.0 (which I still have somewhere, think I lend it to someone, so no comparison pics). But everything is touched by razer.
The buttons are coated like the Diamondback/Copperhead ones. And are huge.
The shape mouse fits like the Intelli explorer, filling your handpalm. I have averaged size to big hands and I'm able to find a place for all my fingers instantly. It was a lot more puzzling around for me when I got my Diamondback 2 years ago.
The glowpipe isn't as bright as I expected it to be, I really don't care much about it, but I think it was caused by the Photoshopped press photos they released.

Buttons
The travel seems a bit longer the diamondback, but hardly noticeable. The click is a bit more solid as well,  but bear in mind that the diamondback is 2 years old. The solidness makes sure that you don't 'accidently' press the button when resting your finger and it. However, there is no 'free movement' when pressing the button, so when you press it, it clicks instantly. Very nice.

The sidebuttons are the same slick plastic as the Copperhead sidebuttons. The Habu comes with 2 interchangeable sideplates with different sidebutton setups. These are snap-off/snap-on, no screwdrivers, very easy to change. One options has the buttons in a forward position, one a bit more to the back. It's very nice they added these options, they aren't necessarily for big/small hands, more for personal taste.

The wheel turns solid and has clear notches. It's turns a bit heavier then the one on my diamondback, it clicks smoother though.

Drivers&Software
The razer download site is currently down, so I can't get the latest version, unfortunately. The supplied drivers/software seems to work fine though. All the familiar razer options are in there, with an option to turn mouse acceleration off. There are no acceleration settings for the mouse wheel, no big deal for me, but something to be noted.
The buttons are as customizable as anyone can ever desire, everything is changeable into everything, that also includes using buttons to load different profiles, which i prefer for the 'dpi up/down' buttons.
I run at 2k dpi, with on the fly sensitivity on one of the side buttons. With the dpi cycle buttons behind the scrollwheel i 'cycle' between my profiles. You'll have to set what profile to switch to with the buttons for each profile, a profile spanning 'next profile' 'previous profile' option would've been nice.
I have a windows/games profile (with back and forward binds) and a media profile (to control winamp, the Media functions are builtin in the options). I'm still checking whether I want a gaming profile that does have dpi switch options, but I haven't gamed a lot with it yet.

I haven't played many games yet so I can't judge the tracking yet, but it feels very smooth and isn't skipping so far!

Verdict: As expected, Microsoft shape with (kickass) Razer internals, I love it!

Pics
I used to be able to upload to the blueprints gallery, but can't find the option for that anymore. But if an admin can do it, be my guest.
I don't know how to do the thumbnail stuff, so here are the 'big' pictures.

Btw, there's a button on the bottom of the mouse, next to the sensor. There is no clue in the books/manual about what this button does. When I press it, the glowpipe blinks a couple of times. Is it some kind of reset button?

hmm, for the CP this is for changing the profile. Perhaps it was planned to add profile switching they added the button for it but in the end it wasn't fully implemented...

Selachii nice feed back and now I see what the changeable buttons are like ........ One set are pushed back while the other sits further forward. Keep the info coming with what you like and dislike. Any chance to see from the manual what can be programmed or scanned for us too look at?

I will evaluate my findings this weekend if I find the time to write it down.

Here's a screenshot of the drivers, I collapsed as many windows and photoshopped all popups into this 1 screenshot. It's not possible to have it all open like this, but it shows the functions pretty well.

edit
I flashed it to 2.0, eventhough it worked 100% correctly (why did I do it, why?! Because there was a small paper in the box, saying i had to download the latest drivers to be able to use all functionality) Anyway, I can't use tweaks now, everything is in default. Hence, I'll give my impression for gaming at a later time.

Right, I got v2 working now (apart from the 125Hz bug ofc) the rest works again now.
Installing the mouse without the mouse plugged results into the entire thing not working, like some1 in the other thread said, the guy that put the green wrapper on the usb plug saying "install before plugging in" should be slapped.

Onto the new problem, yes 1 of the side buttons stopped functioning, and ofcourse it's the on the exchangable sideplade that I prefer using :/ I hope I can get a replacement for it. gonna mail around for it this week, major bummer though.

edit
I found out the button still functions, but I have to press it really hard... unusable.
