Hi aion. I have tried several x64 wink2.sys and usbport.sys files and non of those didnt work. I think I have vista_6000.16386.061101-2205_x64 but not 100% sure Tongue

However here are my files... and I would like to use 500hz usb rate.

I have already tried the one listed here and i just got a bsod. help?

You must disable integrity checks or Windows Vista "x64" will refuse to load modified system drivers!

Please consider using HIDUSBF.

Im currently using the G5 with the latest setpoint drivers.

I have windows mouse sens set at the middle so there isnt any interpolation. I also have acceleration disabled in the driver.

I'm not noticing any accelration in Vista what so ever. Is there a way to possibly check?

hi aion, my knowledge of computers is very limited compared you the guys on this forum, i get how to disable windows file protection and everything, but i don't know what to do with the file i downloaded. i try to open the file i downloaded (the one for vista 32-bit mouse accel) and it says cannot open file. do i rename it to system32.bak and then rename it when i put it in the folder?? also, can the usb polling rate thingy that is limiting the hz have an affect on my Plantronics dsp-500 headsets? (since they are usb headsets)

Sorry to be such a dunce when it comes to this, any help is appreciated.

So currently if you use (KB938979) or (KB932596) updates on Vista you cant fix the mouse accel and usbport.sys being 125hz limited? Im currently running 64bit vista and my mouse is very laggy, especially when vsync is enabled. No mouse issue with XP. My rat is MX518.

Christ :/

I couldn't care less about the kernel protection patch but (KB938979)  actually has some handy improvements. Any way around this issue as of yet? Also does the vista accel fix work with conjunction of Logitech Setpoint 4.0 or is it meant solely for non-driver mouse setup?

Thanks if advance.
