Hello to all. After buying two lycosa keyboards to have one working i deside to buy a mirror one (clever me ) The new keyboard works great but some keys are not painted well they are white arround every key and on some of them around 10 keys you see white on top of them. They look like they are painted by dipping method and some of them are not dipped well. Whats the problem with razer they dont have any quality control at the production line ?

Sad to hear but I would take some pictures of it and email Razer. They may help you out.  ?

agreed, you should definitely contact Razer support. They are better than some.
But, agreed, seriously strange keyboard. I'm hoping my new lycosa is error-free. But im beginning to be afraid this is not possible...?

Nothing will ever be error-free, I'm afraid. But seeing how this forum is full of posts of people with problems with their Razer stuff, I thought it might be nice to let you guys know there are also a lot of people out there who have bought a lot of Razer items which all work fine, if not great.

one of those people is me, here's a list of the stuff I have, when I bought them, and how good they (still) are;

dec-2007: Deathadder; best mouse ever, period.
feb-2008: Lycosa + eXactmat; keyboard is flawless, except maybe that the mic+headphone jacks have noise, and certain key combinations can't be pressed at the same time. the mousepad is starting to show siginificant wear on the Speed side, I can definitely feel the difference on the used parts and the unused parts on the edges. switched to Control a few weeks ago :-)
mar-2008: Piranha; flawless, I've taken it to a lot of LAN parties and so far it's done a great job of withstanding the abuse it must suffer in the back of the car due to my reckless driving skills Smiley (same goes for the rest of my Razer stuff, those guys sure know how to build sturdy gear)
jun-2008: Diamondback3G + Goliathus OC; my brother is using these and he's very happy with it. In my opinion though, I think the Goliathus has a terrible lift-off distance with the 3G IR sensor.
He'll probably buy a Carcharias soon because we're both tired of passing the Piranha all the time :-/

sorry for (off-topic) bragging, remember I just wanted to point out that there are satisfied Razer customers who spent their hard-earned money on quality products.

Thanks for the nice comments and support HyBreed.

You bring up a few good points.  As hard as we try we may never get to the point of 100% defect free production, but that does not mean we will quit trying and one day you never know.   Razer has a strong team of quality engineers and we are working toward that goal every day.  If anyone ever has any troubles or questions with a Razer you can always contact us at www.razersupport.com and we will be happy to assist you.

We do have many, many satisfied customers who never have any problems with their Razer products.  These users are less likely to post their comments on this forum and that is OK.   Razer realizes what Blueprints is all about and we do find valuable feedback here, both good and bad.   We also  know we have a lot of very knowledgeable and well informed customers on this site. Thanks to all of our customers and fans for their support and feedback.  We value everyone of you.

I have to admit that i had a lot of good experiences with many razer products too like any DA i ever bought boomslang ce lachesis copperhead and of course mamba mine was working great from the begining no jitter no other problems except wake up time that was fixed right away. Only with keyboards i had problems My tarantula when i first bought it a lot of keys was not working but after some time it start working my 2 lycosas was not working well from the begining and the mirror one is working great but it haves the problem with the bad painted keys. I use to try other companies products especialy mice (microsoft logitech roccat etc) but i belive the never feel like razer so i stop buying them So im going to stick with razer.
