So for those not sure about getting a keyboard with mechanical switch, or who just cannot afford a HHKB2pro, steelseries, filco, realforce but want to give it a try. I just received a solidtek ASK-6600U keyboard last week and must say this is one satisfying keyboard to type on. It has alps key switches like the beige apple keyboards of long ago and although it is not the most quiet keyboard you will ever use (not quite IBM buckling loud but not membrane quiet), and it can be had for under $50 with 3 day shipping in US. You can find it on amazon by searching for mechanical keyboard, or go on buy.com and use same search. It's just a basic black usb keyboard, no macros, no extras but is really really fun to use.
