Commemorative DA Edition  for Team Serious Gaming “Cypher” - ESWC ‘08

ugly as hell.

it's funny, because most, if not all, "special edition" Razer mice are Deathadders. there's the Guild Wars edition, the Mac edition, and I'm pretty sure that some time ago they also released one that was a limited edition (just like this Quake boy one) for some big LAN event.

all the more proof that the Deathadder is the gaming mouse.
not the Lachesis
or the Copperhead
or the Diamondback(3G)

DA= best performance combined with best shape Smiley Only the IE 3.0 can compete with it in my eyes. The explorer has lowest lift off distance and tracks well on very fast turns with low sens.
The reason why I use the DA is because I like the more 50 dpi more and a higher lift off distance. But the DA is picky for mousepads the IE not.

have never used this IE you're talking about, but you're right about the Deathadder (or the 3G infrared sensor, for that matter) being picky when it comes to a good mousepad. the lift-off is terrible on the Goliathus, but extremely low on the eXactmat.

ontopic: did that guy who won the competition use a Deathadder? would be funny if he didn't  Grin

I really believe he used the DA but haven't seen it for real. Maybe he used them for one round at a warmup Cheesy Enough to say Cypher played with DA lol

I also believe the Diamondback 3G to be another version of DeathAdder, rather than another version of Diamondback.
It's definitely both though.

And I'd definitely put the DeathAdder (basically the Diamondback 3G, and more specifically the DB3G version since it has two more buttons) above all gaming mice except the IME 3.0 (link at top of message,) and notably the Microsoft Habu.

A narrow miss for the C&C 3 G5, because the scroll wheel is loud, and hard to press down.
You also have to get modded drivers to be able to assign anything you want to the buttons. Setpoint basically has the options hidden, and you need the modded drivers to unhide them.

Have you people seen cypher play? That guy is a real beast in every way : aim, movement and map control. He reached a level no one reached before I think.

Nope, I'm totally out of touch!  I can look him up, but can you recommend any particular performances?
