A friend of mine noticed a problem with the keyboard the other night while playing Age Of Conan and I tested it myself and I have the exact same issue
I tested this in notepad myself, if you hold down C then while holding it down hold down Z as well (so they're both held together, in notepad it'll spam C then switch to Z when you press it) then hit either 1 or 4 on the number pad it wont recognize that either number has been pressed... if however I hit any other number it'll recognize the key press and interrupt what is currently happening (in this case the spamming of Z in notepad) and input the number instead
It appears to be a problem with the C key as this will also happen with
C and A
C and X
C and D
C and E
C and W
C and Q
C and S
this will also happen if you try it in the reverse order e.g. X and C
these keys happen to be in the anti-ghosting cluster, if you try any other combination in the cluster excluding the C it's not an issue
Here are some more outside the anti-ghosting cluster, these combinations won't allow the numpad 4 to interrupt them (numpad 1 is ok)
C and T
C and Y
C and K
C and [
C and ]
and these wont allow numpad 1 to interrupt (numpad 4 is ok)
C and K
C and L
C and J
C and ;
C and \
is anyone else able to confirm whether this is an issue as well? I emailed Tech Support (and so did my friend) and we got the usual 'generic' email of uninstall/re-install the driver, try plugging it in to another PC, change USB ports etc. I have bought the keyboard to work and tried it on various machines and have the exact same issue which leads me to believe it is a firmware/hardware issue. Tech Support have also asked me to take it back to the reseller and exchange it... but I don't see the point as it will have the same problem.
It's a nice keyboard, both in looks and to use, but this just makes me want to go back to a cheap $5 keyboard as at least it'll work properly.
