Razer Mamba Pictures Posted in our Forum

I just took the mouse for a good spin, without drivers (for now) and after 2 hours of UT3 and one hour of Photoshop CS4.. I AM FREAKING SOLD!!
So far not a skip, no skid, not a jump or tracking failure, nothing but silky smooth movement!! I was totally prepared for the usual Razer "wait for firmware for it to actually work" thing, and thoug h I do not want to jinx it, and I know 3 hours of use is not much, but so far : simply perfect!!
I am using a Razer Destructor pad and tracking is also perfect, this thing is tracking much better then my Deathadder or Lachesis!! I simply cannot feel that I am on wireless mouse, there is not even a hint of lag! The sensitivity adjustment buttons are great and very useful (yes they worked out of the box without drivers) The LED lights work as both battery level and DPI level (acting as DPI level indicator when you push the level adjustment buttons)
The shape is the superb Deathadder shape that I missed when I went to the Lachesis, it is noticeably heavier (battery) then the previous Razer (you can go wired and loose the weight of the battery though) but still very comfortable and the feet just make it like it was glidding on smooth butter!

This is very easily the very best Razer mouse out there, and I started MANY years ago with the original 2000dpi (RIP) ball mouse. This is like the culmination of all that Razer learned over the year coming to be into one perfect mouse!! The Logitech wireless and wired mouse simply cannot compete (what about Microsoft you ask?? well you almost have to go back to the toy mouse planet for that) ...this mouse simply created a new league of it's own!

If you had doubts, I highly recommend you to get one and you will see what I mean! I know it is not a cheap mouse, but I have a strong feeling that once more of these are made available to the public (and keep coming out working good like mine) there will be all whole new Razer following generation showing up (to this site too?) and lost sheep coming back, people that seek the best and will find it with this mouse.

Exellent mini-review. Looking forward to trying it out as soon as it's out. Still working well for you?
Also how's the weight? Did you find it difficult to lift the mouse fast (in FPS games) using the battery?

I love it more and more, and the more I use it the less weight is an issue, well, it never was, but now it is becoming actually quite comfortable to have that weight

Thanks for the heads up, I have contacted him to removed my images from his auction and am going to report him for possible fraud given he likely does not have the mouse
